About Us
A Message From The Owner-
“Hello! My name is Christy Miller, and my husband Kaden and I bought PawPrints early January, 2021. We are super excited to be the owners of PawPrints and to help the pet community in Valley Center and beyond thrive! We both grew up in Valley and went to Valley Center schools, and grew to really love this community. My love for animals started at a very young age with growing up on a hobby farm with dogs, cats, chicken, goats and bunnies. I wanted to be a vet all throughout my childhood, and in high school I volunteered at the Kansas Humane Society walking dogs as well as fostering puppies too young to be adopted. It was a lot of work, but I learned so much and loved every second of it.
While in college, I worked at a dog kennel where I was a kennel technician for 3 years. Kaden and I got married on October 14th, 2017 when about a year later I got the opportunity to be a performer at Walt Disney World in Florida, so Kaden and I moved to Florida August of 2018. I performed at Walt Disney World for a year when we decided it was time to come back home.
After coming back home from Florida, I went back to the dog kennel I worked at before and was promoted to kennel manager and worked there until I bought PawPrints. I also became an AKC (CGC) certified dog trainer. I love to train dogs and now it is another passion of mine!
Kaden and I had our son, Clark, in August of 2021, who is now a little over two! We also have three dogs (Finn, AJ, and Bree) and a cat (Phoebe) who bring so much joy to our lives! We are active in our church and love Jesus.
I love to learn and am constantly learning about what is best in the pet industry. From diet to the general health of your pet, I have researched and have taken online courses to be as knowledgeable as I can be in these areas! I can’t wait to meet you and help with any problems or concerns you have about your pet’s wellness or diet!
